Welcome to the Hibiscus Coast Anglican Parish
The Hibiscus Coast Anglican Parish, is a growing community based Anglican Parish on the Hibiscus Coast, with three worship centres.
The main church is St. Chad’s which can be found on the corner of Centreway Road and Florence Avenue in Orewa and is home to the Parish Office and our Op-Shop. Our 2 sister churches are Holy Trinity in Silverdale (135 years old) and Christ Church in Waiwera (106 years old).
It is our hope that the information contained here will allow all who visit this site to be informed of the ministry within our Parish.
The churches along with their halls provide a range of venues for baptisms, weddings and funerals. It is our hope that the community will use our facilities for regular or ‘one-off’ events.

We accept donations of clean clothing and small household items. Please check with one of our friendly volunteers prior to dropping off.

Thursdays – 9.00am
A pre-school music/action programme for caregivers to attend with their young ones. A relaxed half-hour programme followed by morning tea then play for the young ones and a time to chat with others for the parents/caregivers.
Help us with our community hall
St Chad’s is facing a huge challenge – our church hall, used by the Parish and wider community on a regular basis is failing due to subsidence caused by shifting sand foundations. The existing damage will worsen over time if action is not taken and could begin to threaten community safety and the main church building structure.
Action must be taken now to ensure that St Chad’s can continue to serve the wider community.
